♡ Making homemade blended juice (smoothies) is fun and easy! The fruits and vegetables in this recipe are not only good for your physical well-being; they’re also great for your complexion. Years ago, I stopped eating a lot of unhealthy foods. Doing this has done wonders for my health, performance, and overall appearance.
Here are the items that you will need for this recipe:
- A blender
I own a KitchenAid blender similar to this one: http://www.shopkitchenaid.com/countertop-appliances-1/blenders-3/-%5BKSB354OB%5D-400108/KSB354OB/
- A cutting board
- A sharp paring knife
- 2 cups of 100% Apple Juice/Cider (depending on the season)
Full of calcium, fiber, iron, potassium, and phosphorous. They also help with acne prevention.
- 10 strawberries
Loaded with antioxidants, which are great at countering skin-damaging free radicals that are caused by stress.
- 3 large oranges
A wonderful source of Vitamin C which is needed to form collagen, a tissue that helps to hold cells together. It’s essential for healthy blood vessels and aids in healing wounds and scars.
- 3 small celery stalks
Packed with flavonoids, which are plant compounds with antioxidant properties that help fight aging by preventing and repairing cellular damage.
- 10 carrots
A great source of Vitamin A. Essential for the growth and development of cells.
Preferably all ingredients are organic and purchased from local farms. I also recommend to consume it within 12 hours, so that the ingredients stay nice and fresh.
